James W. Taylor
II is a performs patent research at
the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
for U.S. and foreign patents, published
patent applications, and non-patent
literature in the chemical and biotechnological
group.
Mr. Taylor graduated from The University
of the South of Sewanee, Tennessee,
where he received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Chemistry. He graduated
from The University of Sydney of Sydney,
Australia, where he received a Master
of Science in Chemistry. Mr. Taylor
worked under the renowned Prof. Robert
G. Gilbert, known for his work in
emulsion polymerization mechanisms
and unimolecular rate theory. Mr.
Taylor’s thesis is titled “Deconvolution
of Molecular Weight Distributions
as Obtained by Size-Exclusion Chromatography”
and is both physical and chemical
in nature.
Prior to joining Kramer IP Search,
he worked for Abbot Laboratories and
S.C. Johnson Wax. Mr. Taylor is a
former Patent Examiner for the United
States Patent and Trademark Office.
He has several publications, including
a patent application.
