Leo J. Jennings
specializes in client counseling,
portfolio development, and providing
clearance, invalidity and infringement
opinions. Mr. Jennings also has extensive
experience in the preparation and
prosecution of patent applications
in a wide range of areas including
the mechanical, electro-mechanical,
industrial design, and business method
fields.
Mr. Jennings holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of
Maryland. He also received a Masters
in Business Administration degree
from Georgetown University, and received
his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown
University Law Center, where he was
Topics Editor of the “Journal
of Law and Policy in International
Business.”
Mr. Jennings is a member of the District
of Columbia and New York Bars and
is registered to practice before the
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
He has taught an annual course on
“Intellectual Property Strategy
and Innovation“ for graduate
business students at Georgetown University
since 2001, and also teaches a course
titled “Global Intellectual
Property Management” at the
Franklin Pierce Law Center Summer
Intellectual Property Law institute.
